This wine cellar designed for @massiftokyo in Ikejiri Ohashi, Tokyo. This design came from Massif’s search for storave that is large, practical and super durable. This cellar is seen through an orange tinted window in the restaurant and has a capacity of around 2000 bottles. The top section is designed to hold wine bottles of all shapes and sizes through the use of half round dowels.

These wine storage units are made up of 3 tiers offering a different practicality to each section. The bottom section houses large quantities and crates. The middle section allows for storage flexibility and bottle stacking. Whereas the top tier is a place for the more special bottles in the collection to be displayed, as the dowel design allows for different bottle shapes to happily sit side by side.
